CERAMIC BIRD OF HAPPINESS FLOWER
Flower is an unusual Bird of Happiness because she looks like a red flower. Flower was hand modelled from soft chamotte clay and dried on the hot summer sunshine before being fired in special ceramic kiln at almost thousand degrees centigrades.
The hand glazing process and ancient raku firing bring a final surprise to each of the pieces making every single one unique with their own story. There is a life happiness in each bird sculpture, born out of synergy of all four elements, fire, water, earth and air. Holding a bird in our hand we feel one with the nature.
