WORKSHOP IN ZAGREB PLAY WITH CLAY
DESCRIPTION:
The workshop is discretely guided. Instructions are minimal and in accordance with the group’s wishes. We use real natural clay. Each peson will shape according to their desire , intuitively letting their hands guide them . You can play completely intuitively or with the aim of making a cup, small plate or ashtray. Participants have the opportunity to decorate the clay, draw something on it or write their most secret wishes. They can add texture and imprints to their creations. Creative expression is free and completely unburdened.
PROCESS:
Play with clay is an experiential workshop of being in the moment but also an experience of letting go. The process, as well as the result, will be documented through photographs, which I will send to you so that you and your crew have a keepsake. The creations return to the pile of clay ready for some new modelling, new transformation, new creations. (Children can take their works home raw. Unfired clay can be shaped and recycled infinitely. Parents will receive instructions about possible painting and preservation but also reuse and home play with clay.)
PRICE:
All tools, materials, clay, special clay paints, equipment and instruction are included in the price. Price per person is 35€. Minimum 6 and maximum 9 people. More people only by prior arrangement. A glass of wine or liqueur, tea and coffee complimentary.
TIMING:
The session is arranged by agreement according to your wishes.
NOTE:
Workshop in Zagreb Play With Clay (Play with clay and let it go) is experiential in nature. The emphasis is on the process of playing with clay and the experience, and the works do not go into further processing. However, if you wish your work to be turned into ceramics, at the end of the workshop, for technically sound works we can arrange our further processing of one work, drying, two firings in a special ceramic kiln and glazing for an additional charge of 30€ per person. Workshop in Zagreb Play with Clay is informal, intuitive and playful experience workshop for adults and kids alike.
Included use of tools and found objects, special paints and natural clay.
This is a process experience workshop, however if children decide to take their pieces home, the instructions on further decorating, storing and even reshaping their pieces will be given.
Please note, unfired pieces are extremely fragile, but can be rehydrated and reshaped an infinitive number of times.
All materials, tools and tuition are included in the price. Glass of wine, liqueur, tea and coffee is free.
