CERAMIC BIRD OF HAPPINESS No 268 PINGO
Pingo is one of the few Birds of Happiness with a male name. He was shaped in traditional terracotta clay, entirely by hand, no moulds, no wheels. He was carefully hand glazed and kiln fired several times.
The hand glazing process gives an unrepeatable finishing touch to every sculpture making each Bird entirely unique and one of a kind. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
