CERAMIC BIRD OF HAPPINESS No 280 RIO
Rio is one of the larger and more colourful Birds of Happiness. It was hand modelled, hand burnished, hand painted and hand glazed, and dried in controlled conditions. It was fired in a kiln at about thousand degrees celsius. This Bird of Happiness was lastly fired in an ancient raku firing which always brings a final surprise to each of the pieces making every single one unique with their own story. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
