Vase Black With Gold was thrown on a potters wheel and altered. The surface was hand burnished with a precious stone. After a period of 10 days this bottle-vase was fired for the 1st time in ceramic kiln on the temperature of about 1000ºC. It was allowed to completely cool down for 24 hours. Special ceramic glazes were applied on the inside. It was finished in raku technique. The result is unique, one-of-a-kind artwork that brings natural curves, unique textures and special character to any room.

  • Raku fired pieces retain scent of smoke for several weeks due to specific firing processes.
  • Raku fired items are porous and no liquid should be poured or kept in the bottles who think they are vases as it may seep through and leave permanent stains on your furniture.
