Art Studio Laura Rainbow is a perfect place to escape from everyday life. Set in the
lush countryside on the outskirts of Zagreb, capital of Croatia. It’s a 53 square
meters of heaven. Two teaching rooms are large enough to accommodate 12
students. There is also an outdoor space with a large table in front of the studio for
those wanting to play with clay in the fresh air.
Clay and cosmic energy unite in the skilful hands of Laura Rainbow (real surname!)
as she creates stilysed unique sculptures inspired by freedom and nature.
Her original art ceramics are for sale directly in the studio or via a webshop

of Happiness (mainly raku, obvara and saggar). Their purpose is to ennoble homes,
personalise work spaces and remind us how important freedom is for human
happiness.
In her studio Laura is teaching adults to play with clay. Students are creating their
own ceramics using traditional methods and techniques, handbuilding and throwing
on potters wheel, painting, decorating and glazing.
Classes and workshops are in English and Croatian.
Individual workshops on potters wheel or hand building are available for singles,
couples or groups of up to 12 people, celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, having
teambuildings or simply socialising and chilling out with friends and colleagues.
The subject of each workshop is decided on the day but most popular are making
mugs, plates, bowls, spoons and vases. The times slots available during the week
days, evenings and even weekends. Booking in advance is obligatory.
The courses consist of 12 lessons spread over 3 months and are aimed at
professional adults who are looking for a new hobby and a break from everyday
routine. New groups of beginners are starting 4 times a year and there is a
possibility to continue in intermediate and advanced groups.
Private visits to the studio with the aim to buy Birds of Happiness and other unique
ceramic pieces are highly advisable. They make a wonderful unique art souvenir
