Two Friendship vases were hand made from slabs of grogged clay, individually cut formed together and hand-polished with semi-precious stones. Beautiful textures of pebbles, shells and crystals make them special. Together they went through their first firing in a ceramic kiln at about 1000ºC. They were cooled together for 24 hours and then the large one was glazed in white-grey tones and the small one in turquoise. Ancient raku firing emphasizes their rich textures and gives them unique colour shades. The result is a unique work of art that brings a touch of originality to any space.

  • Raku fired pieces retain scent of smoke for several weeks due to specific firing processes.
  • Raku fired items are porous and no liquid should be poured or kept in the bottles who think they are vases as it may seep through and leave permanent stains on your furniture.
