An apstract drawing was incised with a wooden tool onto a burnished clay surface. Individual parts were assembled and the vase was left to dry for 10 days. The 1st firing in the ceramic kiln at about 1000ºC was followed by a cooling period of 24 hours. Exciting application of special glazed and raku firing bring out the vase’s unique textures and reflective properties. The result is unique, one-of-a-kind artwork that brings natural curves, unique textures, original colours and special character to any room.

  • Raku fired pieces retain scent of smoke for several weeks due to specific firing processes.
