There is a story behind the creation of every Bird of Happiness reflected in the name. Joy was created on a hot summers day and is one of the few Birds of Happinss with wings. She is shaped in the traditional terracotta clay, hand glazed and kiln fired several times.
The hand glazing process gives a distinctive finishing touch to every sculpture, making each Bird entirely unique and one of a kind. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. There is even more life happiness in Joy. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
