There is a story behind creation of every Bird of Happiness reflected in her name. Kent is shaped in traditional terracotta clay, hand glazed and kiln fired several times. Kent got his name after the “garden of England”, the most luscious and green part of southern England where a great number of domestic and migratory birds live and nest.
The hand glazing process gives an unrepeatable finishing touch to every sculpture making each Bird entirely unique and one of a kind. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
