There is a story behind creation of every Bird of Happiness reflected in her name. Go Catch the Bluebird was hand shaped, hand painted, hand glazed and kiln fired several times. Go Catch the Bluebird was named by a student at Art Studio Laura Rainbow. She saw the bird and shouted out the name. I had to use it.
The hand glazing process gives an unrepeatable finishing touch to every sculpture making each Bird entirely unique and one of a kind. There is a life happiness in every Bird of Happiness, born out of synergy of human touch, clay, water, air and heat. Holding a Bird of Happiness in our hand we feel one with the nature.
