Money bag was handbuilt from coils of soft chamotte clay. The surface was burnished with a precious stone. Following 10 days of drying Money bag was fired for the 1st time in special ceramic kiln at about 1000 degrees Celsius. It was allowed to completely cool down for 24 hours and than before the second firing. Special raku
glazes were pplied by brush to bring out the vase’s distinct colours and reflective properties in raku finishing process.The result is unique, one-of-a-kind artwork that brings natural curves, unique textures, original colours and special character to any room.

  • Raku fired pieces retain scent of smoke for several weeks due to specific firing processes.
  • Raku fired items are porous and no liquid should be poured or kept in the bottles who think they are vases as it may seep through and leave permanent stains on your furniture.
