Lace was imprinted into soft hand made slabs of grogged clay, individually cut and formed together. Following 14 days of drying this bottle-vase was fired for the 1st time in special ceramic kiln at about 1000ºC. It was allowed to completely cool down for 24 hours and than before the second firing, special ceramic raku glazes were applied to bring out the vase’s unique textures and reflective properties in raku finishing process. This unique, one-of-a-kind artwork with natural curves, unique textures and original colours brings special character to any room.

  • Raku fired pieces retain scent of smoke for several weeks due to specific firing processes.
  • Raku fired items are porous and no liquid should be poured or kept in the bottles who think they are vases as it may seep through and leave permanent stains on your furniture.
